Structural Suite

Ready for how structural design works in 2030

No one knows exactly what structural design will ask of its software in 2030: new materials, new code editions, new ways of working, and tools that do not exist yet. The Structural Suite is built to be ready for them. It is one platform for analysis, design, modelling, drafting and fabrication, which people and programs use in the same way, and which anyone can extend and connect to the software they already use.

In development. Four of its 17 products are working today as command-line programs and C APIs: frame-analysis, eurocode-calcs, section-analysis and model-convert. frame-analysis also has a desktop program. Nothing is released yet.

The suite

The idea, what works, what comes and in which program

Each page answers one question. Plans are stated as plans, and everything said to work today works on 15 October 2026.

  • The idea

One project model for analysis, design, modelling, drafting and fabrication, and one definition of each product's operations, which people, scripts, other programs and AI agents all use.

  • Today

What each product in development does today and what it does next, what exists of each promise of the suite, and how far each Eurocode has come.

  • Coming

Every feature the plan holds, release by release, from steel members to concept models, with the programs that carry each one.

  • Programs

The 17 products of the suite, and the programs of the plans beside it for geographic information, simulation, building services and civil design.

Who it is for

Engineers, offices that automate, and software

  • Structural engineers

Analysis and design in one model, with every Eurocode clause cited in the source and the documentation, and every result checked against hand calculations, worked examples and published benchmarks. A case the checks do not cover is reported as not covered, never guessed.

  • Offices that automate

Every action is an operation with a typed request. A script, a spreadsheet or another program calls it through the C API or the command line and gets the result a person gets in the desktop program, with the same checks.

  • Developers and AI agents

A product's command-line program serves its operations to AI agents over the Model Context Protocol, from the same definition as its C API. File formats are documented, so a model can always be read without our software.

The Products page describes each product in detail, and the Libraries page lists the 50 shared libraries they are built on.
